The North Sea Jazz Festival is one of the best jazz festivals in the world. The event started on 1976, so is now celebrating it’s 38th birthday.
The festival takes place right on the shores of the the North Sea in Rotterdam, hence the name is North Sea Jazz Festival.
You’ll find more than just good Jazz music here though, as the festival also includes a selection of bebop, Swing, blues, soul music, drum ‘n’ bass, gospel music, funk, fusion, and New Orleans jazz.
This year the lineup includes Buena Vista Social Club, Pharrell Williams, Gregory Porter, The Cat Empire, Stevie Wonder, Booker T Jones, Kenny Garrett, Dirty Loops, Joss Stone and Outcast.
