Illuminade is the walking route of The Amsterdam Light Festival, allowing you to walk through the city and enjoy the thousands of lights and other attractions that light up during the winter.
There are also many events organised by museums and other places in the city alongside this route.
The walking route is designed to compliment the light sculptures, projections and installations by international artists that will brighten Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Light Festival.
