Morning Gloryville Amsterdam, Conscious Clubbing - Club Lite
30 July 2014
On Wednesday 30 July 2014, Morning Glory Amsterdam hosted its second unique early morning dance event in Amsterdam – an early morning party featuring D-A-N-C-E, fun, yoga, massage, hugs & buckets of glitter to "Rave Our Way Into The Day!" - what a great way it was to start the day!
The event was held for the second time at Club Lite, on Jan van Galenstraat 24. It started at 06:30 and ran until 10:30.
The dance floor was packed with vibrant early birds, dressed in everything from colorful yoga wear and bath robes to tutus and inflatable rubber pool toys.
It was a feast to the eyes, and the energy was flowing. Most dancers were totally “in to” the music and the dance itself. Many visited the glitter station by Nachtkristal, where they got their faces decorated with glittery goodness.
The Wake Up Angels with their massage chairs were constantly relaxing the backs and necks of this freshly awoken crowd, and the Pranic healing stations were just as busy!
Everyone was welcome to come along to Morning Gloryville Amsterdam; no matter their age. The only rules were sobriety and authenticity. Visitors of all ages arrived, from excited kids with beach balls, 20+ dancers and hula hoop lovers, to young professionals and 50+ yoga enthusiasts! It was a mixed group, with a female majority, but the men did not disappoint with their appearance.
Morning Gloryville has been described as a "trailblazer in conscious clubbing and socializing." The aim was to give people a chance to truly express themselves in a healthy and sustainable way. And express their true selves they did!
The music was delivered by San Proper, DJ Hero and Joyce Mercedes
The food was prepared and served by Emma's Kitchen. The raw food breaky menu was truly delicious, and healthy!
The amazing Svahayoga instructed the yoga sessions, and the relaxing massages were given by Roberta Colombano and Antonia Blom, the Wake Up Angels.
Pranic Healing Netherlands offered a quick burst breakfast healing.
Overall, Morning Gloryville delivered an interesting early morning experience! It was fun, refreshing and totally helpful in starting the day with positive energy!
The organizors did not forget that some visitors were still heading off to work...In case glitter is not necessarily part of your dress code, there were supplies to help you get work-ready ;-)
